Mehmuda Shikshan & Mahila Gramin Vikas Bahuddeshiya Sanstha came into existance in the year 2000. A group of seven young womens joined their hands together & initiated voluntary action in Nagpur. Subsquently they registered it under the Societies Act, 1860 and step forward with a view to spread its activities throughout Maharashtra state. With the active involvement of the so-called members the organisation grew up. Mehmuda Shikshan & Mahila Gramin Vikas Bahuddeshiya Sanstha committed to the socio-economic and political development of the rural poor with a special focus on SC's / ST's /Minorities Women of Maharashtra. The organisation collects subsscriptions, Donations & grants from Govt. and Non- Govt. organisations and individuals for all round development of the poorest of the poor, who lives below poverty line. Since inception Mehmuda Shikshan & Mahila Gramin Vikas Bahuddeshiya Sanstha aims at service to mankind is service to God.

Area of operation:

As on date Mehmuda Shikshan & Mahila Gramin Vikas Bahuddeshiya Sanstha covered no. of villages of two districts of Maharashtra state for furtherance of its aims & objectives. Irrespective of caste, creed, sex and religion the organisation takes up programmes as per the need of the area.

Legal Status:

Mehmuda Shikshan & Mahila Gramin Vikas Bahuddeshiya Sanstha is a non-political, Non- profit making organisation registered under the Societies Act, 1860 & under Bombay Trust Act - XIX of 1950.

Management:

An active management and headed by Secretary is closely monitoring the day to day affairs of the organisation. Physical & Financial aspects has been looked into by the experienced & educated workers & has been engaged to accelerate the programmes in the respective fields & evaluate the activities in comparison with the financial inputs provided with a qualified Chartered Accountants has been appointed by the apex body to conduct Social & Financial Audits in a regular basis.
